Marriage Celebrant-led Wedding Ceremonies and Vows with Mark Newman

Choosing a celebrant wedding is a way to mark a significant milestone in your relationship without the formalities typically contained in religious or legal marriage ceremonies.

When your wedding is officiated by a civil marriage celebrant, you have more flexibility to craft wedding vows that reflect your personality as a couple and incorporate elements that have significance and meaning for you both, bringing in as much or as little spirituality as you like.

Working with Mark

When it comes to location, I can travel anywhere in the UK, or abroad. Living in Ruislip, West London gives me easy access to London and the Home Counties.

From your initial consultation call with me until the moment you exchange your vows, I can promise you a curated wedding ceremony that is entirely personalised, with no limitations on creativity.

At the start of working together, I will take the time to learn about you both, taking into account each part of your unique love story and your values as a couple.

                                                                   Wedding Vows and Ceremony Ideas

With a marriage celebrant officiating your ceremony, you have total creative freedom when crafting your wedding vows. You may want to keep them straight to the point, or inject some humour, spirituality, or a heartfelt love poem.

There are so many ways to plan an alternative wedding ceremony. I would be delighted to include whatever has the most personal meaning to you both. Here are some ideas to inspire you:

  • Unity Candle

  • Handfasting or tying the knot

  • Love letters

  • Tree planting

  • Water ceremony

  • Multiple languages

  • Sand mixing ceremony

  • Water blending
